make your own, really isn't that hard, over the years I've acquired the recipes for el fenix, luna de noche, etc. salsa, none are more than 10 ingredients.
Speaking of tortilla chips... my favorite brand was Jimenez (spelling?).
In the 80s/early 90s they blew away all chip brands sold at the super-market.
I know the quality fell way off at one point... not sure if it was because the company was bought by another company and that parent sunk the Jimenez brand (I could imagine a Frito-Lay monster buying them and then sinking the quality)... think they did just that to Eagle Snacks.

I lurked for the first time here from the Houston board. HEB has the salsa as well as central market which is HEB owned. Heavy MSG and watery but oh soo good. Julio's chips are good alone but not with julio's salsa, the salt on salt is too much. I eat the salsa with basic tortilla chips.
