Well I was watching the show Man V Food, I find it pretty entertaining.

I was thinking they have been to San Antonio, Austin, and Amarillo but not Dallas or Houston.

I don't know of any places that have food challenges.

What spots in the DFW area do you think they would shoot the show at?

I've seen the guy on Man v. Food eat super hot buffalo wings before, so they could go to Plucker's and see if the guy can eat their "Fire in the Hole" wings. I think they have a challenge for people who eat the most in an hour get thier picture on the wall.

By the way, a quick word of caution: NEVER, under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, try the Fire in the Hole wings at Pluckers!

I know of a couple of burger challenges in Arlington/Mansfield, but nothing he couldn't handle.

Nuthouse Grill (Mansfield-Matlock/Country Club) has a two-pound burger on a giant bun with a crapload of fries and O-rings

La Copa Campo Verde (Arlington-Pioneer/Roosevelt) has a giant hamburger, don't know the stats on it though.

I don't think Dallas has anything he hasn't done before. Obviously there's only so many challenges out there (wings, burgers, pizza, etc.) so some have to be 'repeats' but I can't think of anything unique to Dallas that would be interesting to watch.

Harvey Washbanger's "Release Form" wings are hotter than Pluckers... Unfortunately, I know from experience.

The only thing I could think of was Burger House. I suppose he could try to eat the most patties.

Nicky D's in Crowley has a 2.5 lb burger. Some redneck got his picture by the register for finishing it last week.

If he's coming to DFW he better hurry. That dude's cow heart is going to explode any day now...

yeah, he's going to end up on Biggest Loser. They should have recorded his weight, cholesterol, etc. before this show got started and then periodically give us an update.

Ham and Eggs is the first place I think of in the DFW when thinking of Man vs Food coming to town.

The San Antonio one can't be topped. Holy sheet that was amazing.

What did he do in San Antonio?

He ate at some place that made cinnamon rolls the size of soccer balls, a pizza place that made pizzas that were bigger than the tables they served them on, and his challenge was some burger that looked insane hot.

the cinnamon rols weighed 3.5 pounds and were indeed the size of a small childs head.

The pizza which weighed 38 pounds with each slice that went the length of his torso

And then there was the burger. It was a regular 1/3 pound cheeseburger with pepperjack cheese. But, it was topped tih jalapenos, serrano peppers, habanero peppers, and ghost chilis.

by comparison, the jalapeno is about 5,000 scoville units in heat.

the ghost chili is around 1 million scoville units.


He had to eat the burger with latex gloves so he didnt burn his hands
