Sorry if this has already been posted...

Does anyone know of a good place to watch the fireworks at Addison Kaboom town? I've heard that traffic is hellacious in and out of the area. Anyone work in a tall building in the area that allows roof access for watching the festivities.

Why do they never do it on July 4? You'd think they'd go for the 4th this year since it's on a Saturday. Unpatriotic Addison!

Couple of options:

1) Go eat somewhere on Beltline that has a patio and stay late.

2) There are multiple open fields around Addison Airport that people bring chairs to. The show is huge so you don't have to be in Addison Circle to enjoy it.

we always take Kaboom Town in from afar. We go to the parking garage at The Shops of Willow Bend and park on the top deck. Good vantage point and FREE!

Growing up inside the "kaboom town" circle, I will NEVER venture into that traffic again!

I went a few years ago with some people who have a hanger at the airport. That was a great place to watch from.
