Some friends of ours from here in Houston are heading up there to take photos. Any suggestions for nice/unique photos. We came up with the Botanical Gardens and the Kimbell. What are some other options?

My wife and I enjoy city pictures. You can get some great city pictures in downtown... nice urban/neighborhood shots in the Magnolia area. Museum district would be a good spot too as you said.
We got ours at Botanical Gardens.
I wasn't that impressed with them, but in all fairness it started pouring down rain fifteen minutes into it.

pretty much in the square between throckmorton, 2nd, commerce, and 4th street.
we went out there on a weekday afternoon to get a few standing in the middle of mainstreet at 2nd, looking back at the courthouse. pretty cool shots.
