You don't want CLC anyway. He ripped me off last year by charging me $750 for some loose shingles. I was dumb and had no idea how much it should cost. Trusted him blindly b/c he was an Aggie. Won't make that mistake again. Also, would never even give me a receipt. This year an honest guy did the same thing for me for about 1/5 the cost.

Had my roof replaced a couple years back after a hail storm. Used Lon Smith - they had signs all over my neighborhood. No complaints - was very happy with their work.

I've used Peacock before...good guy.

Is anyone else having trouble getting any of the roofing companies to return phone calls.

I've called at least 6 companies (including those listed here) about coming out to give me an estimate on replacing a cracked skylight and inspecting the roof. Odds are, if the skylight is cracked, the roof is damaged and will need to be replaced.

Not a single one has returned my calls.

I understand they are all busy but you'd think at least one of them would want my business.

Anyone have other recommendations - I'm in the Flower Mound / Lewisville area.

I called Lon Smith and Peacock at the same time and ended up hearing back from Peacock first. Service was prompt and so far so good.

Just had Lon Smith fix some leaks -- very honest guy. He even said, "I was hoping to sell you a new roof today, but yours is in really good shape -- just need to fix a few spots and you'll be good to go."

There are many terrific roofing companies in DFW and Lon Smith will say w/o hesitation that CLC Roofing is one of the "GOOD GUYS".
