We are going to the Mardi Gras at the Automobile Building at Fair Park. Would like to not have to drive there..and dont want to take a cab. Does anybody know the best way to there on the Dart from the walnut Hill Station..and yes I looked at the Dart website..its not bringing up the maps right now. Thanks

Well the trains don't run out there yet, so you're going to have to take a bus or two. Unless you're planning on getting blitzed then I wouldn't take Dart. What would normally be a 15 minute drive will probably take you 45-60 minutes.

Several years ago, we took the grandkids to the State Fair, and decided to take DART. We caught the train in Plano and rode it to one of the station in Downtown and had to take a bus to Fair Park. That was a flyer though, so you may have to change busses to get there.

Why? I know Fair Park isnt exactly the safest place but even with all the people there for the concert, you still think it would be unsafe? We would really rather not drive.

Take a train to Cityplace station, then a short bus ride to Fair Park. Not sure which route though, but check routes from Cityplace
