I would like recommendations for pool service companies who service the Steiner Ranch area. The intent is for this to be a short(er) term need, so I want to make sure that we are not locked into a contract. I also want to make sure that the company provides some type of reporting or confirmation after the weekly service (I have heard that some companies don't do this). Finally, it is preferred but not required that they offer education (at an additional fee is fine), as we would like to do it ourselves moving forward but are both first-time pool owners. Started Patriot the week I graduated from A&M as a one-man company. Our philosophy from the beginning has been that "we are a customer service company that happens to clean swimming pools."

Do you do any short term work? Normally I take care of my own pool in northwest Austin but next week we leave on vacation for 2 1/2 weeks so I may try to hire someone while we're gone.
