All for it.

"[The plan amendments are] responsive to the energetic growth in this area of my district..."

Hilarious that Leslie Pool would say this, considering one of the biggest drivers of that energetic growth is Q2 Stadium/Austin FC, which she vehemently opposed.

I'm in her district and she can go butter up a stump as far as I'm concerned.

Edit because I F'ed the saying.

Neighborhood Centers - need more of them. This bodes well for Austin and Central Texas in the long run. Now lets get some tunnels Elon!

Where's the water going to come from? So much for environmental Austin of the past. Now consumption hypocrites.

The people are here and you aren't stopping future growth. Building taller and denser is more eco friendly than urban sprawl.

LOL. If Elon is paying for the tunnels bring them on

We do need expanded rails and bus systems though!!!!

The city has recently adopted the 2021 International Building Code along with a host of other I codes that have increased energy/water conservation measures. This is at the top of the list. Austin is growing the right way, hard to see sometimes with all the fuss.

I haven't read this anywhere, but The Boring Company at here in Bastrop county is rapidly growing, which leads me to believe there will be tunnels in that solid limestone under most of Austin. I predict driverless EVs shuttling underground Austin between Neighborhood Centers are part of the future for mass transit. Can also see driverless EV 18 wheelers on dedicated lanes, possibly tunnels.

Parking for Austin FC is going to get even tougher.

I'm guessing they want more density in that area to support their commuter rail.
