Anyone have a contractor they would recommend in the area? I am in Round Rock. I've talked to a few people that I found through our community FB page and NextDoor - but getting folks to follow through with an estimate or communication in general has been tough.

If you have good plans drawn you are better off to GC yourself. Are you moving any walls?

I've considered it - but am concerned that it will take twice as long and I may be not 100% confident in my abilities and calculations. I do have a pretty solid drawing - but still...

No walls are being moved. The island will turn (which has power in it already) and then some electrical and plumbing will shift around for appliances.

Tomberlin Painting and Remodeling did our kitchen remodel (countertops and backsplash) in Cedar Park and did a great job. We'll be using them again for some other projects.
