Does anyone know of a shop that buys used tires? I bought a new vehicle and the dealership is putting new tires on the vehicle. The existing tires will have less than 500 miles. I just want to unload them to a shop or something - not interested in selling on Craigslist, etc.

There are a ton of used tire places on North Lamar that may buy them from you. I bought a used tire with good tread for a spare at the one north of Braker several years ago.

Sold some to tire shops before. The less "chain place" they look like, the more willing they are to deal. They need to be able to flip them for a reasonable profit themselves so don't expect a lot, but you will get something.

Just tell us what size they are and I am sure you will have offers. Much easier to deal with Aggies than anyone else in Austin, for sure.
