Planning a garage sale this weekend. I have not been able to find anything on the City of Austin website about a garage sale permit - all I can see is regulation about where/when to post signs advertising a garage sale.

We are helping some family with this sale; we live in Bryan so I have no clue about rules for this in Austin. Even in Bryan you're required to have a garage sale permit from the city/county/whatever. Is that not the case in Austin?

Unless they have changed anything, city code allows you to have 2 per year.
