Baby reload is due in March and my wife is going to stay home for the first 6 months and then work nit quite full time after that so we'll need a daycare. We live near 183 and McNeil. Does anyone have any "affordable" recommendations?

Where ever you decide to check, be sure to review their inspection reports on the dfps website. You can even search on their site for centers and homes by services offered, zip code, etc.

There is a Stepping Stone School on McNeil. While my kid does not go there, we toured the one near Anderson/Steck and we liked it. There are several in Austin.

I toured Stepping Stone on McNeil when I first moved here. I really liked the place, but chose Childrens Courtyard that was closer to my house than work.

Your wife is staying home from work for the first six months?! Dang. Sorry I have no recommendations. I am the daycare come August 1st when my temporary employment ends.

Well we timed it just right. She works for a school district so as soon as her maternity leave runs out, summer vacation starts.
