In Austin for a bachelor party with 5 other guys and the groom. I lived here 5 years ago, but don't remember the best places. What are the best recs for a solid BYOB establishment?

Yellow Rose and Perfect 10 would be my two spots. Sugars is low on talent right now, so I heard. Call ahead wherever you go.

I hear P10 is great right now.

I haven't been to Sugar's in several years but it used to be my favorite.

BTW, none of the places mentioned are BYOB.

I don't have anything to add, but I'm impressed with the use of the term "teeteries."

BYOB places are nasty.

I highly recommend Perfect 10. As far as BYOB, XTC used to be ok, but that place has really gone down hill. I don't know if the Pink Monkey is still BYOB, but not too long after the opened, someone was shot in the parking lot.

I would just choose Perfect 10. Beer prices were not too bad the last time I was there.

I went to the Pink Monkey for my bachelor party, DONT GO THERE!! From what I remember and was reminded of it didn't end well. XTC was much better for a BYOB club. Still not great.

If possible leave the kids at home and go to a 21+ club.

Teeteries are indeed strip joints. Hooters, Twin Peaks, Bone Daddy's, and the like are called breastaurants.

Also, I don't recommend the Yellow Rose any longer. The last time I was there, one of the performers bit a batchelor-party-goer on his hoo-ha and then proceeded to call us all racists.

Be careful at Perfect 10. I know a guy that got the stuff beat out of him by the bouncers for not moving as quickly as they would like. Of course he may have deserved it but still...
