Where is a good place to have a graduation dinner for my daughter in San Antonio.

Any suggestions outside the Riverwalk area?

Thanks

Chama Gaucha, but only if you like red meat.

If you don't, then none of my other suggestions are any good to you either.

What kind of food does your daughter like and how many people?

Thanks for the replies.

Looking to host about 30-40 people. She eats just about anything...she would be okay with either mexican food, BBQ, chicken, or seafood. I think she would prefer a place that is laid back so that people can relax instead of feeling like they are at an uptight event. We looked at Paloma Blanca in Alamo Heights and Salt Grass on the River Walk as possible places.

Tomatillos on Broadway. They've got a nice indoor patio area for groups.

30-40 people sounds like it might slim your list of options down...could be tough to find too many places that can sit that many people all in the same room/table arrangment.

are you throwing down for everyone??? What's the budget?

Call Larry at the Mexican Manhattan on the river walk.

I believe Larry at Mexican Manhattan has some Aggie connections, so that'd be a nice place downtown to celebrate.

I know Alamo Cafe accommodates groups of that size (either on I-10 or 281) as well. Their menu is general enough that most everyone will find something they want.

Mamacitas can accommodate a group of that size.

Ah yes ... Mamacitas has a room to the back left that'd be nice for that size group as well. And their Guisado Monterrey is awesome!

Yep, I'm paying for everyone.

Mamacitas is a good idea. I'll look into that place.
