Is it true that there were over 50 for sale signs put in Coach Fran's front yard when he got off the plane? I heard that today at lunch!

No, not true. He lives down the road from me and I had the same thought go through my head. Not actually doing it, but wondered if anyone would.

LOL, no I'm not $ Bill. I'm just a poor 30 something white guy who hangs out on TexAgs every now and then.
Security stakes his house routinely anyway. I go there after games and I stop and say hello to the "boys". They started it in 2003 after the VTech loss.
On a side note, I went out there at 5:30 that morning after miami and the house being built next door started pouring concrete at 6 am? Who does that so early in the morning?

When I worked construction, we routinely started and finished early to beat the heat... Lot's of 6am to 2:30pm shifts...

I should have said I didn't truly have a problem with it. Guess I just found it ironic they would start at 5 am after the guy next door got home at about 3 am. Luckily his quarters are on the opposite side of the house.
Fran lives on Copperfield Dr. in Miramont, but not in gated area. he backs to the 16th fairway/green.

He and the Mrs. do have a nice casa in Miramont.
If I am not mistaken I think only one person lives behind the gates near Miramont. It is the rich bank dude(can not remember his name at the moment). He developed Miramont and the bank building off of University Dr. that is taking 30 years to build!

Do you really think (that if true) it is "community members" doing it?? Or students?? (Unless you are counting students as part of the community).
Either way....I will only believe it when I see a picture. In today's world...nothing happens without someone taking a pic (with a phone, digital camera, etc.).

fran does have a nice house.

If there were a lot of for sale signs in the yard, how do you know the purpose wasn't to piss off those lazy, do-nothing real estate agents?

As of today, there was exactly one "for sale" sign that could be seen near Fran's house. Attached to it was a "sold" sign and it was in the lot next door, where as previously mentioned, someone is building a house.
Don Adam's house is technically not in Miramont, it is called "Courtlandt Estates" or something like that. The guard house for Adam's mini-development, which currently only has one resident, can probably keep tabs on Fran's house as well.
There is a gated part of Miramont, but the gates are usually open.

If my sleuthing skills are correct, this house is being built for William Flores, '76, who was recently named president of the Association of Former Students board of directors.
