Most entrees are $6-7. I'd go more often, but they don't serve ravioli, my favorite.

i second this motion, they have good pizza. their pepperoni tastes good.

they have a website, but i couldn't spell it or find it.

try their cheesy bread for $2.50... it looks like white cheese on bread, but tastes awesome.

I think the pizzas run $12, $14, $17.

Vurt,

I think you may be confusing Fratella's with Fritellos, that pizza place by the Exxon station.

Fritella is kind of fast food italian. Their specialty is a very gross, greasy deep fried calzone they call a "fritella." It is located in Bryan at Texas & Brookside/Garden Acres.

Fratello's is a pretty good pizza place in Bryan, located on Boonville Rd. across from Allen Academy.

Yeah, I was confused. Both are good.

How do you confuse FRIT with FRAT... not even close. Since it started with Frat, I leaned that way.

I don't eat it often, but when I do, it's been tasty! Best eaten hot - like any fried food, the cooled-off version isn't as great.

I LOVE Fritella! It reminds me of growing up in Jersey with REAL Italian food.

They have my perfect lunch--I get the Pasta e Fagioli (white bean and pasta soup) and they give you one (or two sometimes!! ) of those little breads to dunk in it. $3.50. Awesome lunch. Make sure to ask for extra cheese and herbs

Fritellas has been here like, what, 2 years? 3?

The half lasagna / half cannoli is hard to beat. The parmesan chicken is pretty good too.

Thanks for the tip Jersey - I'll try that out.

Fritella's is pretty good...love the Fritella and Chicken parmesan. The breadsticks are great!

Fratello's has decent pizza, but Mr G's is better.

Going to OG for real italian is like going to McDonald's for a real hamburger.

Went to Mr. G's the other night. Food was good as usual, but it was about 110 degrees in there. We were actually sweating during the whole time. We though about just walking out, but didn't. Next time, if it's hot when we walk in we will just make a large circle and walk out.

I never could get past the fact that Fritella used to be a Taco Bell.

Fratello's: Excellent

Fritella: Okay, but I wouldn't be disappointed if I never ate there again.

I thought the same as the above poster the first few times I went to Fritella --- but that was b/c I was always sharing a pizza with my SO. THEN I discovered the lasagna/canneloni, combo... Pure heaven. And the Fritella (the fried, pizza pocket thing) is greatness. That is all.

Fritella's is very old school home-style Italian...it's not for everyone, but it is authentic. I like it.

If any of you are from Houston and familiar with the popular restaraunt "Pino's" I believe that is the same family. I read that they came to the area to retire and opened up a small place...frittela

The guy that owns it owned one of the more well know Itlian resurants in Houston for years. (sorry, I never knew the name myself). This is real Iti food, made with only real Iti ingrediants. The owner has an amazing life story. If your ever in there, get him to tell you about living in a cave north of Rome during the Allied Invasion during WWII.
This place is the real deal. Excellant

Addriano is the brother that owns Fritella in C.S.. Pino, is his brother who still owns the place in Houston (they were previously co-owners).

One of my favorite places in town.
