Howdy, Ags!

Every generation of Aggies has its places - and usually a good story to go with them.
Let's hear those stories: If you could return to one Aggieland restaurant for one more meal with your old college crew, where would you go and what would you order?

At De Baca Steakhouse in South College Station, we love hearing those stories. Restaurants become part of a community through the people who gather around their tables, and we'd love to be part of your next Aggieland memory.

There's plenty happening here in 77845 this October.
Our connection to Texas A&M extends to what's on your plate. We're proud to source premium beef through the Texas A&M Rosenthal Meat Science & Technology Center, including USDA Prime and American Wagyu. Whether your ideal dinner is a great steak, fresh seafood, or something adventurous from our game selections, there's plenty to explore.

We're also excited to bring De Baca hospitality to Kyle Field suites through our catering this season. From a Friday dinner with friends to a Saturday cheering on the Aggies, we love being part of football weekends.
If you're welcoming family, entertaining clients, or meeting old classmates before Midnight Yell, consider making dinner with us part of the visit. Planning ahead is especially helpful for larger parties and Friday evenings before home games.

Wonderland Wine Dinner | Tuesday, October 27 | $250 per person
On Tuesday, October 27, our monthly wine dinner series takes a whimsical turn with our Wonderland Wine Dinner - five imaginative courses with wine pairings:
  • "Drink Me" Gaufrette potato crisps with creme fraiche, Royal Ossetra caviar and chive, paired with Albert Bichot Cremant de Bourgogne.
  • "The Mad Hatter" A hibiscus-dusted phyllo hat with bruleed triple cream brie and apricot gelee, paired with Stags' Leap Chardonnay.
  • "Down the Rabbit Hole" Chimichurri flat iron with carrot dauphinoise, charred baby carrot, parsley cream and beef carpaccio, paired with Heitz Cellar Cabernet Sauvignon.
  • "The Queen's Eat Me Tart" Venison stew, olive tapenade and pomegranate red sauce in a tart shell, paired with a 2008 Closerie du Pelan Bordeaux blend.
  • A sweet finale Brown sugar and white wine-poached pear with cinnamon biscuit, caramel sauce and toasted hazelnut, paired with Riesling Eiswein.
The dinner is $250 per person. Email jim@debacasteakhouse.com for reservations and event details.
For an easy weekday gathering, join us for Golden Hour, Monday through Friday from 4:00 - 7:30 p.m. in the bar and patio, with specially priced drinks and select menu favorites. Or finish your weekend with Sunday brunch from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

We're also helping guests plan holiday dinners, company gatherings and family celebrations. Our private dining room accommodates up to 30 guests, and we're happy to discuss options for your group.

Mario and Son's Pizzeria!! Good call! I used to cook pizza for them back in the day when I was "making my bones" lol. 8am-3pm Cafe Eccell wood fire oven, then 4pm-12am at Mario's on the gas deck oven.

They had great calzones and strombolis. Nice guys to work for too. Ah, to be 19 again.

What was that kind of fancy Mexican restaurant in a residential area of Bryan near downtown? Food was sort of like Frida's? I liked that place.
