Come check it out if you're looking for a Fall drive just outside Aggieland this weekend while the Ags are away. Lots of vendors and activities for the family at the shops in the downtown square.

Live Music starts at noon.

My kids love the Old Town Railroad Museum and the tour of the historic jail. Lots of family friendly restaurants for lunch. Make a day of it.

If you want to make an Aggie experience out of it, stop by and honor Pete Tumlinson, the creator of Ol Sarge, who rests in the Oak Hill Cemetery in downtown.

Event takes place the second Saturday of each month.

Come try it out as a vendor someday if you've got a small shop. My brother is setting up his mobile plant shop this month and driving from Burleson to do so.

That's a very good question! I honestly have no idea. He has plants and he takes it to different events.

Some of the activities at the shops are things like:

Shirley Mae's Bakery: Cookie Decorating / Children's story reading by author and book signing (Sunny Snuggles by Kristie Walker) awesome breakfast and sweet treats

Girly Pop Boutique: Keychain Charm Making / women's clothing boutique and I don't cringe when my wife goes to the register to make purchases

Cameron Coffee Shop: Meet the Author (JF Hopper)

Old Town Railroad Museum (Strange things scavenger hunt)

Live Music at city center (Robert Conn - 12-3pm)

Some of the other shops may have things going on as well.

ZX Made in Texas is a really cool place sometimes has wine tastings. It's a neat place to just hang out and make friends. Always new products.

7th and Co. is a children's clothing boutique with high quality kids clothing, books, accessories they had a bookmark making activity last month but not sure what they have for Oct.

Cameron Beer Market will probably have the games for the day on and food/drinks

1846 Grill is a new restaurant in town good burgers,
Dogs and sides

ginnos is Italian food/pizza for a nice sit down meal

Circle S BBQ will have their food truck out there

Really fun businesses with even better owners who are active and involved. Have made friends with many of them.

There's new things coming in 2027.

Central Avenue Bistro is re-opening this spring. A cool anniversary/ special occasion / date night dining atmosphere especially in Fall

A new shop that I'm not sure if the name is public knowledge yet so I'll wait till they announce coming next to ZX in Texas that'll offer a lot of options that complements ZX in TX.

44 Farms offices are on the square but their storefront is just a mile or so down the highway.

It's a neat vibe and it's growing. Keep an eye on it if you can't make it this weekend. If you can, come check it out and leave some feedback to make it even better.
