I've got a small office in my home that has some built-ins and honestly isn't large enough to be an effective office. At the very least I'd like to rip the built-in desk and cabinets out.

The room is against the corner of my garage, so there's some room to expand if I were to sacrifice some garage space.

I'd like to turn it into a multi-use room that can be an office or a very small bedroom when my MIL stays there (she lives internationally and visits for 3-5 months at a time).

Anyone have suggestions on a person or company who could handle a job like this/help me understand my realistic options with the space as is and/or possibly pushing into the garage to make it a bigger room?

We used Gerard Construction for a home remodel - added on square footage, redid master bathroom, added an additional bathroom, new closet and floors throughout and we were very happy. Their cabinet guy is awesome.
