I was parked in a lot on Texas Avenue and watch a commercial lawn service blow six or seven paper trash items onto Texas ave and he even kicked a crushed plastic coke bottle onto the street.

If I throw a gum wrapper out my vehicle and a city police saw me. I would get a ticket. Are the lawn services allowed to blow whatever they want onto the street?

No one can litter, or drive on the sidewalks, or park wherever they want to, but hey that never stopped them before.

We need more natural environments. Grass doesn't have to be mowed so often. Rock gardens are pretty. Nothing wrong with pavement & astroturf. Saves water, too.

It's illegal to blow grass clippings into the street.

Yes. Pavement is what you need to keep things natural. lol.

Your yard should be full of brown weeds dying back for the winter at this time of year and if you have any trees that aren't like the ones you see in abandoned area like natural live oaks, you should be found guilty of crimes against humanity and the planet. If your grass is green and you have a water system installed to keep it that way, it shouldn't be there at all.

That's a bit extreme. But less lush lawns requiring far less water are a good thing, especially as we keep growing.
