Five Courses. Exceptional Wines. Who's Coming with You?
Join us Thursday, August 20, at 6:30 p.m. for an exclusive Silver Oak Wine Dinner.
This unforgettable evening features five thoughtfully crafted courses, each expertly paired with a distinctive selection from Silver Oak or Prince Hill. The menu includes sea bass ceviche, apple pie pinwheel roses, allspice blackberry short rib, beet-infused salmon gravlax and chocolate-dipped dark cherries.

Tickets are $300 per person, and seating is limited. Consider this your sign to gather your favorite wine lovers and reserve your seats.

Is It Too Early for Golden Hour? We Don't Think So.
Ease into the evening at our bar and patio Monday through Friday from 47:30 p.m. Enjoy half-price wine by the glass and draft or bottled beer, plus specialty cocktails and a menu of shareable bites and steakhouse favorites.

Amico Nave. Nice with a pretty reasonably priced menu. I took my wife there on our first date.

I sure couldn't afford a place like De Baca when I was in college lol. Never even set foot in Christophers or Republic till I'd graduated.

The Texan when I graduated. Parents paid. Wife and me would eat at Youngbloods when we got Birthday or Christmas money.

Took my wife to Country Inn in Somerville for our first date. That became our go to til we moved to San Antonio in 2002. We were sad to find out it had closed while we were gone.

I commonly referred to it as the "Somerville Steak House". Goodness I miss that place.

I didn't have much food $$ in college, but I loved going here.

Was that the place w/ Howard Chang? He would visit each table and ask how everything was...

Not sure, I remember it was a 2 story building and they also had a white glove service dinner that you could special order. We did it for my birthday one year, I want to say it was 4-5 courses of food and the staff serving us all wore white gloves.

After looking where Dellwood is, that wasn't the place. I'm thinking of a Chinese restaurant that was somewhere on Texas Ave between what is now GWB and SW Parkway. It was on the South side ot TX. Probably where Popeyes or McDonalds is now.

One of my buddies dated one of the waitresses that worked there one semester. Man, we ate good that semester.
I hope I did not offend anybody with this post. If I did, please come see me at my address in my profile so we can talk.

The steak special and a twice-baked potato from Grapevine. My mom would pick that up on Saturday night to eat at home. Good times.

Went to Oxford Street for my senior prom.

Fort Shiloh chicken fried steak. Was that the one on 29th Street? What was the place on Texas close to SW Parkway where the car wash is now?

I have never been to Christopher's where I had to pay. It was either for work or some other event.
