Has anyone built an ADU in their backyard (either office space or studio apt type) and used someone local? Curious for recommendations and experience.

I build stuff for a living and have never heard of an AUD, what exactly is that and I can maybe recommend someone.

any GC can build it, how large do you anticipate 500, 1000, 1500 square feet?

500 probably seems big for what i'm envisioning - probably 300sq ft max I would imagine. Right now thinking about enough space for a bed and a desk (ideally just use it for office space most of the time). I don't think plumbing as this would drastically increase cost (i think), but was one of the things I wanted to discuss.

for that you could probably buy a Morgan building and just add electrical for pretty cheap
