My kid and some friends kiddos from Dallas are coming down for Buckys hoops camp. Place we had for the adults fell through and looking to see if anyone had any reccos? I know some people posted during football season about rural ranches and short term group rentals so wanted to take a shot..

I'm not sure I'd call 9.3 miles to Reed convenient. It very rural and not near any restaurants/groceries which would be a no for me if I needed to feed a bunch of kids at sports camp.

Mine is 1.9 miles from Kyle Field. Loads of restaurants all around. Just depends on what you want to eat? Wings & More, Koppe Bridge. There is a HEB right there too

how do you know what the OP considers "convenient"? Being willing to drive 15-20 mins to get some food is pretty convenient. Why bash the man's home when you have no idea what the OP Is looking for?

Literally everything in BCS is 15-20 minutes so it is odd to think something is far at 9.3 miles.

Thank you for being negative. Distance isn't the only factor. I can get from the house to west campus in 14 minutes on football game day without even getting on Wellborn road and dealing with traffic. It's all about the route. I work graduation at Reed and make the journey daily during that high traffic time. The commute is easy and enjoyable.

Eiter HEB is about 10 minutes.
It has a great kitchen plus both a wood fired and gas grill.

As I say it on the website, It's "in middle of nowhere and close to everything".

So, appreciate your input.....
