Saltwater Grill. A little off the beaten path and a place where mostly locals go. Their food is outstanding. Best fried shrimp ever.

We were just in Corpus for Spring Break and visited Water Street for the first time in probably 15ish years. The pecan crusted oysters are no longer on the menu but you can request them. They are hands down one of my favorite ways to eat oysters, ever. I would highly recommend them!

It's been over ten years since I had in-laws in that area, but when we would visit we always tried to make it out to the King's Inn. Anybody know if it's still around and how the food is?

It's still around. Pretty over rated to drive all the way from corpus. Kingsville yes.

We like to eat at doc's right the water at sunset at least once per trip.

As an oyster addict I'm bookmarking this. I love the mix of Texas and non-Texas oysters. Gonna make time to go here.

If you're going out towards Portland, I ran across this place about a month ago. Pretty damn good. The gumbo is great tasting but SPICY.

LeStourgeon Seafood Company.
