In the past, I have spent from $1200 to $3000 for a queen size mattress.

I have never thought that I received a good value at either price point in terms
of the mattress holding up over time as advertised and promoted.

If you love your brand and have had it for some time, please reply! Also state where you bought it.

TIA

My wife and I bought a Tempur-Pedic hybrid from Mattress Sleep Centers by the mall. Best mattress we have ever had. We had a Serta iCloud hybrid prior to that, and it was also very comfortable. We will probably always get hybrid mattresses from now on.

Sleep Number is awesome but not in that price range. Worth every penny though.

We have purchased multiple Doctor's Choice mattresses from Denver Mattress over the past 20 years or so and have been extremely pleased with the quality and price.

I got a king memory foam cooling mattress from Costco, sealy brand I think. It's held up fine for about a year. And at that pricepoint, like $450, I don't mind replacing it more often than usual. Honestly just couldn't afford a really nice mattress at the time, but old one was causing all kinds of issues. So I was like that's worth it even if it only lasts a year. But it's been great. I actually enjoy getting into bed each night and it is not hot at all with that cooling layer on it. Very supportive.

When our son moved and his old room needed a new bed and mattress, I bought a new foundation and mattress from Wal-Mart as this would be a guest room.

The mattress is a Serta out of a box. Medium firm. It sleeps so good that I ditched the memory foam mattress I had gotten for the other guest room and bought another for that room.

The Serta was between $300-400 dollars. The foundation was $107 or something like that.

For less than $500 you can have a whole setup if you don't need some fancy bed frame.

The base and mid range model queens are in that price range. I bought the base model ( I like it firm) and have been very pleased

The last two mattresses we bought we asked if there are any last year's model that were discontinued and both times we bought about $4,000 mattresses at half price,
