I posted this last year regarding a good opportunity to make some extra cash. I found a high school girl who has done excellent, but she is graduating and moving out of town at the end of the summer. So I'm back searching again.
The make-readies at my Airbnb in town would be a good job for high school kids. The job is more household chores than dedicated cleaning. Yes, there is the typical dusting/vacuuming involved, but with most stays being just two days it doesn't get very dirty and especially if they're coming weekly the cleaning is not too involved.
More stuff like running the linens through the laundry, skimming our "stock-tank pool", making sure furniture is setup the right way, etc. etc.I pay $100 for most make-readies, or $120 if it's a longer term (more than a week) stay to account for the additional cleaning. It can be done whenever works with your schedule (the current girl will sometimes clean in two different sections on different days).
