Hi!
I am a 7th grade AVID teacher and we are hosting our 3rd College/Career Fair. If you are not familiar with AVID:

AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a college and career readiness program designed to prepare students for success in their academic journeys and future careers. At Davila, we work hard to equip our students with the skills they need to thrive in high school, college, and the workforce, with a special focus on critical thinking, collaboration, and goal-setting.

This Career Fair is an integral part of our AVID program and has grown in impact over the past three years. It offers our students the unique opportunity to connect their classroom learning to the real world by exploring various career paths and hearing directly from professionals like you. By showcasing your business and career field, you will inspire our students to dream big and understand the education, skills, and determination needed to achieve their goals.

We are looking for businesses of all shapes and sizes! Professional, Technical, Vocational. The date of the fair is March 6 from 8:30-11:30 am. If you are interested please let me know the best way to contact you.

Thanks again!

You may reach out to SSC at TAMU. They handle Building Maintenance, Custodial, Grounds Maintenance , and Construction Services. They had a trades shop, electricians, and plumbers. Compass Global also is over Chartwells which does dining services on campus.

Hopefully you have representatives from the City of Bryan, College Station or Brazos County. They normally are very helpful and have trades like building maintenance, public works (trash, water, electrical, fleet maintenance), and police/fire/ems/dispatchers.
