Pulled this from Rusty Surette's Facebook. There seems to be a whole lot of arrests, and guns involved at this place.
The following report is from College Station Police. Both people arrested are from Houston:
Armed security guards arrested for Assault on a Public Servant and other charges
A CSPD officer observed a vehicle parked in the fire lane directly in front of Knight Club and made contact with the owner of the vehicle, who was working as an armed security guard for the club. The officer instructed the security guard to retrieve his drivers license and that he would be receiving a written warning for parking in a designated fire lane. The security guard got back into his vehicle, turned on the ignition and rolled the window up on the officer, failing to comply with multiple orders to give the officer his license. A struggle ensued and multiple officers responded to the scene.
While officers were attempting to place the security guard in handcuffs, a group of armed security officers for the club approached them, agitated and aggressively. These security officers were wearing tactical style vests and a gun on their belts. The officers instructed them to stay back, however a female security guard disregarded these lawful orders and swatted an officers arm away. That officer attempted to detain her but she struck the officer in the shoulder. Both suspects were taken into custody following a large police response. The third security guard did not interfere in the arrests.
Dequann Deshawn Ruffin was charged with Assault on a Public Servant, Interference with Public Duties and Unlawful Carry of a Firearm.
Kayla Watson was charged with Assault on a Public Servant, Interference with Public Duties and Unlawful Carry of a Firearm.
