Who are you using for pest control and what's the quarterly cost? We have used Entec for over 10 years, but since they were sold a couple years ago the price keep going up. Looking for a new company.

Josh with Silk Venom is great. I pay just under $100 on a 1400 sq.ft. house quarterly. I think the initial treatment was a bit more, but the quarterly rate has been steady for about 4 years.
Around 10 years ago I started doing it myself. It is really easy and has been more effective than the company we had been paying.
I have probably spent a total of $200 in 10 years. I recently had to replace my two sprayers (one for inside and one for outside) and I still am working off of my original mixture bottles (which I probably need to replace as well).
I got the recommendations on TexAgs for the stuff I use. I can't remember the exact brand off the top of my head but I think it is Bifen or something similar.
Spraying the inside and outside of my house takes about 20 minutes total a month.

ABC. I was hesitant using a larger not completely local company at first, but they've done ok by me so far.

Nope. Got a quote and much, much more expensive than what we're paying now.

$350 out the door annual.

$100 a quarter inside and out for my house. Not worried about trying to save $20 annually by shopping services. They're great people, are flexible in the event you have something come up and can't get home during the scheduled appointment and I have zero bug/pest issues so if it ain't broke...
This. Bifen XTS is $60 for a quart. Will last a long time for the normal homeowner even doing once a month exterior treatments.
I was looking at Pestie online. $140 a year and they ship everything you need quarterly. Sounds like a good way to go for DIY. That would save us a couple hundred dollars per year.

Professional Pest Control is great. Trust them with a key to my place.
I've always paid pest control company but open to DIY. What do I need to know? Is it as simple as mixing in a pump sprayer and walking the interior and exterior of the home? What areas are sprayed? Is Bifen XTS for spiders and scorpions?
Yes it's that simple. Get a handheld or backpack sprayer and spray the entire perimeter of the house. I've never had the need to spray inside. Yes to spiders and scorpions as well. I have gone back and forth between bifen and demon wp though. Just to switch up the active ingredient every now and then
