With the new disc golf course in Caldwell, I go through Cooks' point more often than I used to... and for what seems like 6 months, there has been one lane closed on the side heading to College Station but I never see anyone working out there.

I'm starting to think the citizens that live on that side put up the signs and cones on their own so they can more easily get out of their driveways

They are installing new culverts but they stopped the project for a while, but don't know why they needed to leave the cones up.

They supposedly starting back up soon.

the new concrete culverts are stacked up on the south side of 21, past the cones.

I was told by someone that the contractor is no longer doing it, and they have to get a new contractor. So, that may be like that for a while, unfortunately. I go thru it every day.

I was told that it is a safety reason that the road has remained blocked.
