The make-readies at my Airbnb in town would be a good job for high school kids. I had a good cleaner, but I moved her to my personal house as the job is more household chores than dedicated cleaning. Yes, there is the typical dusting/vacuuming involved, but with most stays being just two days it doesn't get very dirty and especially if they're coming weekly the cleaning is not too involved.
More stuff like running the linens through the laundry, skimming our "stock-tank pool", making sure furniture is setup the right way, etc. etc.
I pay $100 for most make-readies, or $120 if it's a longer term (more than a week) stay to account for the additional cleaning. They could do it after school and shouldn't take more than 3-4 hours.
I had a couple sisters doing it and they started off great for the first several times, but lately they have been slacking and missing some simple things I've mentioned to them before. If you've got somebody interested, shoot me a pm.
