I bought some land behind my house a while back that has a ~4500sqft workshop on it, which was clearly built in multiple stages probably over a few decades. I'd like to renovate part of it as an A/C'd office, part of it as personal/communal tinker space and probably wall off the rest to rent it out (probably along with the small house on the property since I have a tenant turning over soon).
However, before I dump money into it, I need someone to give me an honest, relatively unbiased assessment on what structurally needs to be done and if it's worth renovating in the shape it's in vs at least partially tearing down and rebuilding.
I was planning to reach out to Anchor for the foundation piece, but who is the professional in town to assess the rest of the structure (e.g., there's some cedar posts that are clearly rotted through)?
thanks
