For those that have gone to the Rellis fireworks, how early does it start to get really full in the parking lot? I really don't want to go out there for 6pm

Who knows. We got there early to try to get a good spot last year, and they sent us to the south end of the air strip even though the parking lot was completely empty. No clue why they decided to park the worst areas first and save the good ones, but it pissed me off enough that I'm not going back.

Someone in a FB group I'm in who works at RELLIS mentioned a sign indicating northbound 47 was going to be closed from 5-11 today from (I think) Leonard road to Highway 21. That's going to be ugly
Is there anywhere you can go to see the fireworks without actually going out into the mess that RELLIS will be?
I miss having them at the Bush Library. There were so many places to tailgate and watch them with a small inconvenience to get out and go home.

It's tough to get in and out of there... you better go early if you want to actually park at Rellis otherwise you will be stuck in traffic as it starts (unless they greatly improved traffic in last couple of years)
I wish it was still at George Bush Lubrary as well.
Be prepared to be be stuck in traffic going home.

Only time I've ever been to Rellis we parked on 21. If you know the back ways home traffic isn't too bad.

I have basic cable to get the bundle so I can get on the line so I tuned into that for the first time in months. I'm not sure CW8 is on DTV.

We're on DirecTV Stream. We don't have CW8, but the CW Waco channel. The KBTX App was streaming if, and that's how we watched on our smart tv
