wife is a elementary teacher and has horrible heel pain that started this year... anyone got a good foot doctor they recommend

Dr. Eduardo Orihuela is who I have seen, good guy and my PCP favorite there.

My wife had bad Plantar Fasciitis while teaching that caused heal pain in both feet, even your PCP can evaluate to see if that is the cause of her pain. The exercises helped but finally Barry Solcher ended up doing Plantar release surgery as each would not improve with PT. http://www.centexsportsmedicine.com/physicians/barry-solcher-m-d
We have been keeping Orthopedic Dr's in business over the last 30 years, and find we get better care and lower costs at Central Tx Sports Medicine than CHI, BSW and even former Med doctors. YMMV.

There is one doc in this town I will not and cannot recommend - Dr. Orihuela.
I had a cyst in a joint of a toe. He stuck a needle into my joint, without any local to numb it first. Might be the worst pain I have ever had (and I have had gall stones, root canals, broken nose, etc).
Who does that? I have told a few other docs about that experience and they can't believe he did that.
I screamed like a schoolgirl and told him I was never coming back.

Dr. Kearney at Brazos Valley Foot Care did a great job helping me with my plantar fasciitis.

Yes it fixed it, but its no cake walk so exhaust the non invasive treatments first
