I need to avoid Graduation restaurant rush so will need to go to Navasota or Brenham, or something like that. Where a good place for a date night within a 30-45 minute drive?

I like Blu Fin. Small place away from campus so might not be crowded.

Red Board Tavern in Navasota is great

We recently ate at Shogun earlier this week. It's in Towerpoint next to PetSmart. The sushi was excellent. They also have the traditional hibachi grill experience and recently added an an AYCE option (includes apps, sushi, hibachi, and ramen ie: most of the menu). It's a new-ish place that grads and family may not consider.

Navasota... Appetizer and cocktail at either Red Board or Rail & Rye. Then hit the other one for dinner. Night cap at Hamer's speakeasy in the PA Smith Hotel or rooftop bar at Rail & Rye.

Looks like Red Board has the votes. We've been to Rail and Rye so I'm giving Red Board a shot tonight.
