Anyone have a recommendation of a reputable place that won't waste my time upselling me a bunch of stuff?

I avoid the places where "headlight buffing" is needed or you fail inspection.
i've taken my truck to the one off of 2818 every year since 2006 and never have been told or asked about the headlight buffingTexasAggie_02 said:that includes quicker stickerlegalbird said:

The only time they failed me was for a straight piped diesel. The guy told me I wouldn't pass without a muffler and then gave me the option to either pretend the inspection never happened and not pay the fee or "fail" and get another 2 weeks or whatever it was to get it reinspected. I opted for the latter since I was already past due and didn't want a ticket.BQ_90 said:i've taken my truck to the one off of 2818 every year since 2006 and never have been told or asked about the headlight buffingTexasAggie_02 said:that includes quicker stickerlegalbird said:

it's so odd how people have different experiences
only time it i failed was for wiper blades, which was correct, they where toast, that was my fault for not changing them before I went for inspection
