Howdy folks. There used to be a guy that raised and sold Century Tree seedlings/saplings, but I understand that he has since passed away.

We live in Mississippi now, and I think it would be pretty cool to plant one of these on my property. Does anyone know if someone has picked this back up? Does maybe the forestry department student club do it for fundraising or anything?

I've spent several hours hunting for Century Tree Acorns with my toddler and taking them back home to clean them/"sterilize" them (making sure they've got no weevils aka *******s) before sending them to some friends and family across the state.

Would you like me to harvest and send you some acorns and you could try to grow one?

I currently have 1 tiny Century Tree seedling that just sprouted recently. It's a fun side hobby and my kid loves it.
