I come into BCS sporadically during the week, but would like to have a gym I can go to. I don't mind paying for like a week at a time, but most places seem to only want you to do full memberships, which doesn't make sense for me either. What options are around that I might not have found yet?

You should look into the Active & Fit Direct program: https://www.activeandfitdirect.com/

For one monthly price, you can join multiple gyms in multiple areas (even if you are going to only hit them every few months)...I've got like 8 different gym memberships over a few different states (due to occasional business travel), and it works great!

The monthly price (to me at least) seems reasonable ($30-35/mth), and while there is an initial startup fee too, it isn't crazy, and you can stop the monthly billing/membership at any time without any fee.

Also, you might want to check with your health insurance, as when I joined they had a deal to waive the startup fee, and the monthly cost was like $5 per month less than the website pricing.

Come work out with us at F3 Aggieland. It's not a gym, but it's free.

Something like Planet Fitness would probably work - its month to month without contracts and pretty inexpensive. I think you are more likely to pay as much for a day pass somewhere.

OTF also has a "cheaper" option where you can do a couple workouts a week. It's still month to month, but a little more affordable than the unlimited option.
