I believe I read that B/CS would be about 94% coverage. Few folks I've talked to who experienced totality in that 2017 eclipse said it's very worth it to be in the 100% coverage, though.
Got a couple buddies with land west of I-35. Hoping I can hitch a ride with them and hang out there that week.
I went to Tennessee in 2017 to see that eclipse. it is 100% worth the effort to do so.
The difference between seeing a total solar eclipse at 99% totality and 100% totality is about the same difference as being 99% dead vs 100% dead. it's huge.
THIS!!
We drove to missouri to see it with my 3 daughters
You cannot look at the sun eve at 99.9% "totality".
Then you have this BLACK DISC in the sky that you can look at it and you understand why the ancient probably thought the world was ending.
Don't miss this if you are in texas!!
