Strange I searched before I posted and it showed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day all day brunch menu. Don't know where the search sent me, but on a different machine this evening its showing me the hours for Christmas 2022.

No worries. Check out their FB page. They posted that they are open on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve but closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Also, I was just there for lunch last Wednesday and there were table tents that said the same thing

I know some will disagree, but even when I want to eat out on holidays, I avoid it.
Just can't think that many of those who have to work would rather not be doing so.

Of course, some are different - but service industry folks get the short end of the scheduling stick.

We have eaten at Saltgrass most every Christmas day since they opened.. We always kid the wait staff member about having to work it and most of the time they say they all love to work it as the cook staff and other hourly get time and a half pay and we get larger tips as people are usually in a happier mood. Out of about six or seven instances, no comment was made that even hinted that they didn't what to be there.

I'm just old fashioned in that way.

According to their FB post, Spice World Market is also open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, including their kitchen, which serves up some amazing Indian food.

I agree, but I'm torn on this.

For most, I think they'd rather be busy at work versus sitting around with nothing to do. I have eaten out in BCS back when we would play the sips on Thanksgiving. The server was tipped very well. My guess is that it was their best earning day of the year.

iWon Korean BBQ and Hotpot is open on Christmas Day.

To each his own but when we had a business that required 365 day staffing we never had an issue staffing it. Our employees were eager to pick up double time (I realize most are 1.5) but we sometimes even had employees fighting for it. Our shifts were 8 hours though and still allowed for plenty of family time.

Does the Hilton no longer have their Christmas brunch buffet? Not seeing it online but there's an old Bookface post from 2019.

McDonald's is open today and tomorrow. Subway on Wellborn appeared to be open as well.

Any grocery stores open today? I know Kroger, HEB and WalMart are all closed.

Our waiter at Saltgrass was great and I talked to him a little and he said they had an option of working either Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day and he said he elected to work both.

Applebees is/was open today. Of course, there are none in the B/CS area...

We drove to the one in Brenham, and we were told a wait of almost an hour. So, we left and came back... So much for that...
