Do any oil change places let you bring your own oil/filter?

Was wondering if any do? I can do it myself, just don't have the time. Plus to save money for what they normally charge, provided they don't inflate the labor cost to near match what they'd charge anyway.
Thanks

Oh yeah, plenty of them do. I change it myself now but before, I went to American Lube Centers and brought my own oil and filter.

Yes. Typically won't discount you though. But most places use cheap ass filters so I advise supplying your own quality filter

Pretty sure all of them you can bring your own oil / filter

I've used 3 different oil/ lube shops and I've always brought my own oil

That's surprising.

I'm not sure that I would do that if I owned a lube place. What if something goes wrong with the vehicle? The shop better have a lot of paperwork saying what they will and won't cover if there is an oil related problem when someone brings in their own.

We use Larry's C&L for the wife's car and always supply our own oil and filter.

Good folks and always fair and reasonable.

Well if you bring some oil in a milk jug or something I'm not sure they would but if you bring store bought oil what's the problem?
No reason to believe that oil will be defective vs what they supply

So what are they charging you to do the oil change if you are bringing your own oil and filter?

I think it's $20 or $25 for the labor.

I don't know what the name of the place is, but its right nest to the Kroger gas on Rock Prairie. I've gone there before when the Boss wasn't around and gave the two guys 20 bucks and my oil/filter and they were more than happy to split the money.

Now, if the boss is there its a different story......

That's Wolf Creek. They have three locations in town, including what used to be American Lube Centers down by Gringo's. That's where I used to get mine done.

If you care about your car, ask to see oil and filters in advance. After seeing a real ^*&^ show, I have always changed my own oil. If you have a high end car, I would be very careful.

I stopped by a few places and here is some prices I was told. With my own filter and oil.
Take 5 oil change place at Southwest Pkwy and Tx Ave wanted $50.
Wolf Creek oil change at Rock Prairie & Texas Ave - near the Krogers gas station was $45.
Castrol oil change, between CS Walmart and Deacon Dr, on the side access road, kinda near Van Stavern Vet Clinic was $30.
All of these were the drive-thru type oil change places. No need to get out and wait for them to do it up on a lift or pit.

Sevcik's on Longmire used to. Many years ago... They probably still do.
