So excited. One of my favorite breakfast taco places has a new location. 3160 South holloman. They're original location is at highway 6 and Barron road.

Thoughts and prayers for my waistline

My go-to is usually Taqueria Allende food trailer at Graham and IGN if I'm in that area.

But this will be a stop I'll be checking out soon.

Thanks for the heads up.

There's plenty to argue about this town and its culinary scene. One thing I'm certain of: There is no shortage of great taquerias.

Are they moving out of the gas station or is this a second location? In any case I love having a breakfast taco option that much closer to work.

Sounds like some money goes to one part of the family and other money goes to another part of the family.

Do they have a drive-thru? That's my only complaint about Garpez...no drive-thru.

So you are saying their are two different La Familia named restaurants.
I know the sisters who are on Wellborn (Yole's) at the gas station, one on Barron at the gas station and the brother runs one on Texas (met him at Yole's a few times.

In 2019, the FTAB celebrated their 125 anniversary and I ordered 1500 breakfast tacos to feed the Band and the reunion folks who showed up to watch them drill. It took all three locations to make them and deliver them by 0600 on Saturday.

I was told cousins. Someone else says sisters.

But I know it's not all one business ownership. One sister/cousin runs two of them, and another runs the other two.

And that's a lot of tacos for that band celebration!!

In fairness, my wife and I were responsible for the logistics of catering for Fri lunch and dinner, Sat breakfast and lunch. The TABA actually paid the bills, we just managed the logistics. Breakfast also included 1300 donuts, plus gallons of OJ and coffee. Lunch was 1200 hamburgers/hot dogs. Lunch Fri was 750 Jason's boxes, with being 1200 BBQ plates. This was the most food I've ever seen served in a weekend!
