Personally I would chose Rollo.

I know the Chief Talent Officer, and the man is the epitome of integrity.

He drive that throughout the entire organization.

Edit: I regards to Liere, I do not know anything about them at all. They could be great too.

I have used Rollo for about 5 yrs. Always keep me informed and are quick to answer questions. I'm very happy would recommend.

I used Liere for 12 years up until last year. My insurance rates jumped 35% without explanation. Needless to say that didn't do much to keep me so I left for State Farm.

I know nothing about the integrity of either agency, but I went to Liere a few months ago to get quotes on the insurance on my two cars and the quotes were considerable higher than what I already had that was going up significantly.

I switched to Liere from Farmers this year. My truck insurance was almost $1100 cheaper and home was about 10% cheaper.

Went with Leire because they were a TexAgs sponsor. Went with Goosehead because they were a TexAgs sponsor. Morgan at Rollo is a good guy and they were also a TexAgs sponsor.

I renew next month, guess I'll go with this year's Official Insurance Broker of TexAgs.

I can only speak from my experience with Liere, but they have been great. Bryan Massey is who I have worked with. Saved me a lot of money these past few years.

Us, too - got quotes on home and 2 cars with Liere. Stayed with State Farm.

I can't speak to Liere as I have never dealt with them. I have dealt with a few of the folks at Rollo and they are all very high character. I've heard the two agencies described as Liere will shop for the lowest rate period while Rollo will try to put you in the best policy for your needs without the customer being underinsured (or over insured), at the lowest rate possible. Again, never heard anything negative about Liere's people, but if you are a integrity, faith, and family sort of person, you absolutely cannot go wrong with the folks at Rollo.

Why all the comments about how great and what strong integrity the employees have? It's insurance, buy the best policy at the best price for you wherever you may find it.

Whoever you go with, stay away from Anco. We've had personal, business and health with them at various times over the years and their service sucks and rates are high. Not the same as when Cashion/Haddox were there.

Well, because it matters to some people. Having been screwed over by a major insurance carrier in the past to the tune of a couple thousand dollars, I generally prefer to deal with people who operate with a value system I feel I can trust. That goes for any business, not just insurance. Everyone is entitled to do what they feel is best for them though...

Rollo in a landslide…There is far more to it than meets the eye, both when buying as well as when contemplating a claim.

God/Family/Country people who are hyper-focused on relationships, objectivity, and a consultative experience.

We've been with Morgan at Rollo for almost as long as we've been in business and I can't say enough good things about him and the Rollo staff. Every time I have a question, need a COI for a contractor, add a vehicle or employee or whatever they are always accommodating and professional. I truly feel that I have a partner in business with Morgan and at the end of the day that's worth a lot to me. I focus on air conditioning and he focuses on keeping me insured properly.

That still doesn't make sense. It doesn't matter what broker you purchase through, if you file a claim you still have to deal with the insurance company in the end. The broker could be next in line for sainthood but he still can't stop the insurance company from doing what they do.

We have dealt with Wellman for years and our now retired agent went to bat for us a couple of times over the years and helped a great deal. Insurance is definitely changing, on that I think we can all agree. We went with one of the two companies I asked about but with a note that we would be looking a pricing every renewal. Bundling doesn't always save money either as we found out.

Same. That's why I've had the same agent for almost 30 years.

I've gotten quotes from others and they aren't enough cheaper to make me leave him.

Without going into too much detail about my experience, I'll say this. I was with a major carrier and was involved in an accident with another person who was also insured with that carrier. My "agent" maneuvered the claim in a way that I was held partially responsible even though I was not found at fault. I later moved to a smaller brokerage (multi-provider) style agency (not one of the ones discussed here) and was hit by an uninsured motorist. My agent went to war for me after the company low balled me and I was taken care of. I had a great relationship with that agent until he retired.

Moral of the story, insurance companies are going to do what they do, but the quality of your agent absolutely matters.

I've never had an agent do anything more that sell the policy, and if I had a claim, give me the number to the insurance company's claims office. There very little else they can do.

Having said that, I'm currently looking at both Rollo and Liere because Goosehead has the worst customer service I can imagine. Just try to talk to someone. Can't be easily done, even when trying to increase coverage.

Curious if anyone has moved away from State Farm recently. We have been with them for 20+ years but our rates have gone way up in the past couple years. Thinking about shopping around.

Try Jon Ellison, Brian Shillings, or Morgan Moudy…All career insurance professionals at Rollo, all are Ags, all wildly accomplished, all will give you their personal cell.
