That's actually a pretty smart idea and if there are 8, that means there is at least one every six week grading period. I'm sure people will complain about child care, but I appreciate the opportunity for students to get tutoring during regular school hours. There is no perfect system.Abbyag06 said:
From what I remember reading when they were asking for votes on the calendar, this is for teachers to have time to do their work outside the classroom with the students. It's also a day for students to get tutoring if needed outside of after school hours, requiring teachers to work even longer hours. And today BHS is holding a meeting with colleges for seniors to go and ask questions. They are doing that on each of the half days, rotating between the high schools.
