Atmos Energy has identified a potential error with your July natural gas bill that may show an incorrect past-due amount. However, the total amount due and the previous balance reflected on your bill is correct. We are updating your July bill and will provide you with a new invoice within the next seven (7) days. You will not experience any late fees because of this issue.

Just wondering. Never had a problem with Atmos before. Any help appreciated.

How was that notice received? Are they asking you to "call with questions"?

If it is all notice and they will update, then probably not. These days though, I would probably err on the side of caution and call the office direct, or even go to the office in person, just for peace of mind

February our gas bill was like 5-6x the normal amount. We found out they "estimated" 3-4 months in a row and then bam got it corrected at the end of winter. They aren't ever supposed to estimate more than one month at a time. And there was zero reason that nobody could've made it out to any of the houses in my neighborhood during that time.
