Went to Kolache Rolf's on Texas this morning only to find a sign on the door stating permanently closed. I can imagine as it is always busy! Such a shame as the two remaining stores are far away from Bryan folks. Loved their bacon rolls and cinnamon rolls! Come back!

On of their stores is about 1/4 mile from the Bryan city limits on Hwy 6. Not exactly that far away. The closed store is much further from Bryan.
Pretty sure the one on 6 and university is closer to Bryan than the one on Texas in the middle of College Station was.
I had no idea there was a kolache rolfs on Texas.
I always go to the one by Home Depot.

We liked that one because of the drive-thru. One on Longmire no gotty.
That said, I have had Bubbie's pan sausage koblasneky a lot more over the past year or so.

I actually worked at that one a bit in college (and the one on Longmire).
I know their main "office is in the one one Longmire. And the one on University/6 gets a TON of traffic. Wonder if it was a rent issue? Or medians/construction- a lot gets blamed on that these days lol.
Could also just be that staffing 3 locations is difficult. Kitchen staff gets there at like 3am, and the college kids who work there get in at like 530 am. I would guess of the 3 locations, that one was the best choice to go. Longmire is their main office, and university/6 likely has much more traffic than that one did.
