Will probably need this in the future. Buying 3 acres and water well & septic system will be needed. Any recs? Also, what does something like this cost?

Tag for info. In the exact same boat. I've got $10k plugged for each in my conceptual estimate, but I think those are honestly a little high. At least, I hope.

I have been told to plan on spending about $13,000 for a good aerobic septic system. But I haven't talked to anyone other than builders yet.
Last time we looked, water well was stupid expensive - way over 10k if you are wanting potable water.
Yeah, water is about 300 feet down, at least in my area. I think we paid $18000 for the well, pump, etc… in 2018. That didn't include the septic system.
Call Brien Water Wells. Maybe a little more expensive, but always very good with their work. Call them and give them your location and they can give you an estimate. Also, you want to get on the books, as these guys all get booked out.

I'll add that with it being 3 acres, the likelihood of a SUD pipeline nearby (or in the near future)is probably pretty high. Not a lot of 3 acre plots in the middle of nowhere without a SUD near. Will likely be way cheaper to just jump on board with Welborn or Wickson water than it is to drill a well.
Not long ago (9/2021) had an Aerobic System with Drip Irrigation (subsurface drip system distributes wastewater to the lawn through a system of tubing installed below the ground surface). Cost was $10,300. Installer was Frank's Septic in Lyons, Tx.
Water well (365" deep) drilled in Feb. 2022 by Bilski of Brenham was $14,432.

+1 on these guys. I actually think they were pretty reasonably priced compared to others.
You can't go wrong with Brien WW. But you absolutely can go wrong with a shoddy driller. I know from experience. I have no experience with Siegert but I've never heard anything negative. Do not touch S&K if they're still in business. Terrible work and dishonest. On another note, I'd take a water well over Wellborn water and their rates any day.
