Recently moved into the area and looking for vet recommendations. Have a 15 year old beagle with diabetes and 12 yr old choc lab. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Thankfully due to the vet school there are a ton of good options in the area and you'll no doubt get many of them on this thread.

I'll nominate Shenandoah Vet Clinic.

We've been using Aggieland Animal Health Center and Pet Resort for vet and boarding for several years for our GSD and Aussie. They are extremely nice and polite and seem to do a great job.

You will find no one better than Dr. Kim Stewart at College Hills Vet Clinic on Dominik.

We have used Wellborn Road vet and Van Stavern and are happy with both.

+1 for Aggieland Animal Health Center and Pet Resort. We have been going to them for a while and they treat our dog like the family member he is.

Van Stavern has been our choice for over 20yrs... 2 Labs and Goldendoodle. From puppy to end of life you will find Dr. Laura or Dr Joe to be good to work with.

Save a TON of money and take your dogs to the Caldwell Vet Clinic.

As a veterinarian (not in general practice) that has lived in BCS for over 30 years, there are lots of great GP veterinarians that will take amazing care of your pets. Cost of service, while important, shouldn't top your list of deciding factors. Convenient location, days/hours open, emergency services, rapport with the veterinary staff, medical or regular boarding services, etc should also be included in your decision. Choose what's most important to you and see what fits best. Again, we have great veterinarians in BCS!
