Tree roaches

How long do you want to ignore this user?
I have ABC pest control and have for years. They have done a good job for me but, now that I live "in town" I have a different bug challenge than before. Now, I seem to get a tree roach in my house more frequently than I'd like to.

I had my trees cut back, although some branches still hang high over my house. I have been told they treat the perimeter of the house as that's how you keep them out.

Do I need to treat the entire yard, front and back? How do y'all successfully treat this problem?

Thanks.

As a person that grew up in the Piney Woods, you can't completely stop them. Getting the outside of the house treated will help a lot.

They will still get in.

My dad and I dug a shallow trench around the house and sprayed Chlordane in it back in the mid 1980s. We didn't have any kind of bug in the house for 5 years. Of course, you can't get that stuff anymore.
