We are looking for a new dermatologist. I went to Dr. Terry Jones for 35 years, but seems he is no longer practicing. Any recs from you guys?

Think weaver is the board preference but last i tried 6 mo wait an list of insurance they would not accept.
Childs has been quickest when my wife made appointment a few weeks ago earliest new patient was mid February.
I suspect your info went to another practice and might save you the new patient delay.

Very happy with Weaver. Last I heard was two months for new patients. As an established patient, seems a couple weeks is typical.

I believe Terry Jones is still practicing. I saw a new advertisement with him on it. New name for his business though. Maybe even a new location, but I'm pretty sure he is still practicing.
Weaver has been excellent. Worth the wait. I switched to him a couple years ago.
I cannot recommend the Childs. Three of our family have seen them over the years, not good experiences. They are very nice people. Their office is disorganized, they always run late, and we recently had to go to Houston to have a lesion on my son treated successfully after having two unsuccessful treatments w them. One visit to the H-town dermatologist - done.
Weaver doesn't see kids.

Terry Jones has re-opened his practice. Same address as before.
Terry Jones sold the Dermatologue franchise and has joined Epiphany Dermatology based out of Austin. He is practicing again at the same location on Broadmoor in Bryan:

Weaver is great but ya long waits

Another vote for Weaver. I agree, long waits, but I fear that's going to become the norm with specialists if it hasn't already.
My fil said all in his area (Victoria) are not accepting new patients.

Weaver is fantastic. You can sometimes get into his PA quicker, and she is also great.
They do not take united Healthcare, which sucks, but still worth it to see him.

Does Weaver take BCBS through TAMU? I need to switch as well.
He did when I worked for TAMU, but the last time I saw him with that insurance was almost 2 years ago.

Yes he does.
I see Dr. Weaver, as well, and have been happy with him. He does take BCBS of Texas.
